Terri Blevins is running for a seat on the city council, and he wants your vote! He is seeking to be seated for Mineral Wells At Large Place 1. Terri believes he represents the average Joe and offers a patriotic spirit that he feels connects him to the people. Serving as a Mailman and resident of the city, this homeowner says he stands for the people who haven’t been heard. His goal is to tackle taxation and the way the city communicates its plans.
An advocate of the first amendment, Mr. Blevins believes that Mineral Wells has stifled the voice of its citizens in the past. He stated that the city had too willingly placed the bill for private ventures on the backs of its citizens. Terri has aligned with advocacy groups like “We the People”, in order to successfully oppose spending programs that Mineral Wells has put forward in the past. Blevins holds firm that ventures using public funds should benefit the city’s people before the city. He went on to say that no one wants to be taxed without a say in it.
“I encourage ALL citizens to register to get out on May 1st and exercise their constitutional right to vote.”
Mr. Blevins is incredibly happy to see the renovations to the Baker Hotel. Commenting on how the new windows really help to make the old lady look new again, he added that the Baker alone won’t be enough to bring the city back to splendor. He hopes the development that’s been seen around Mineral Wells will continue. Terri is soon to retire from the postal service and is looking forward to bringing his constitutional mindset forward for his voters. With him making clear that peoples’ rights are a priority, and that he will provide what he can for those unheard.
We wish Terri good luck, along with all the other candidates, in their upcoming bid for city council. Keep up with Goodday to catch coverage of the city council meetings and those who seek a seat.
