Hey everyone! I hope you have all been enjoying your week so far! I don’t know about you guys, but we are loving this new weather we keep having. First up, we have the boys of fall! The varsity team for our Community Christian School will be having their home game against Heritage Christian Academy this Friday, September 17th, 2021 at 7 pm! Tap your heels three times and follow the yellow brick road down to The Sill this Friday night for a Movie Night Downtown! This lovely outdoor venue will be featuring one of the classics The Wizard of Oz! The cost for each family to attend the evening is just $10! The film will begin rolling at 8:30 pm. Four! MWHA Guys and Dolls Scramble is taking place this Saturday, September 18th at 9 am, at our Holiday Hills Golf course here in Mineral Wells. Let’s Grow Crazy is back with some great produce for your whole household! This Farmers Market will also be  taking place Saturday at  9 am. It’s time for a dash of color! Saturday evening at 7 pm, The Sill will be hosting a Sip and Paint event for all those artistic lovers out there. Or if you just want to have some fun. It is time to get cooking! Coffee and Cocktails is hosting another delicious cooking class for all who wish to sharpen their skills in the kitchen. This classes theme will be a farewell to summer! Class begins at 7 pm this Saturday. Students will begin by learning a cocktail, Crazy Strawberry Lemonade Spritzer. The appetizer is an orange fennel-avocado salad.  The entree is grilled bruschetta chicken. And for dessert s’mores cookie cups! The cost to learn such a scrumptious meal is just $75 a person. Last but not least it’s time for some marshmallows around the fire. This Saturday night at 8 pm our Lake Mineral Wells State Park & Trailway will be hosting a Cross Timbers Cowboy Poetry and Stories around the campfire. This family experience will take spectators back in time with wonderful tall tails. The cost to attend the adventure is free with park entry.
