MINERAL WELLS, TX – The Mineral Wells Animal Shelter continues its great streak of over a 90% live-release rate for the month of September.

Under the direction of the Mineral Wells Police: Animal Control Division and Kim Marinaro, the shelter has received almost 200 cats, dogs, opossum, raccoons, and other animals. The majority of animals brought in were cats (~50% overall) with dogs following. However, the good news is that the total cats brought in for the month of September were less than the month of August.
