Built as a Room-and-Board Hotel around 1910, This newly purchased Bed and Breakfast is about to open its doors; letting you step right into this Queen Anne style home.
Here is a quick look of what the inside of this iconic house has to offer.
The new owners just purchased the bed and breakfast and are naming it The Magpie Inn.
I have put a link at the end of this article to learn more about the owners.
The Magpie Inn has beautiful features everywhere you look!!!
Magpie Inn will have five rooms available when it officially opens its doors. Room No. 2 is the one I personally would recommend because it has a separate living space and some of the best views in the whole house.
Can you imagine having breakfast on the second story wrap-around porch and seeing the old Nazareth Hospital, The Crazy Water Hotel, and The Baker Hotel in the distance?
A. F. Weaver, a very well-known local photographer/historian from years ago, wrote in his book, Time Was In Mineral Wells, that he learned to play the piano in this very house.
The new owners of Magpie Inn will have their website up for reservations by the end of this week. Make sure to go to their Facebook page to learn more! Click here to read another article we wrote specifically about the new owners and their plans with Magpie Inn.
