A message from Doug Jefferson, Head Administrator at Community Christian School, on how CCS will operate next week:
CCS Family,
In response to the developing weather situation we see it as prudent to go ahead and CANCEL school for Monday.
We strongly encourage families to read the Mayor’s advisory. It’s really a good idea to stock up and make plans in case of a blackout.
All practices for BB and anything for OAP for Monday is CANCELED. Athletes are encouraged to workout. Your coaches will be in contact. JH OAP students should work on their audition pieces.
While many schools in the area are moving to online and distance learning for bad weather days we are NOT. Keep in mind that we have worked hard through COVID-19 to stay open. We reserve the right to change this decision if the weather lasts.
We can not stress enough the importance of safety. Please please make wise decisions.
