One of the things many in Palo Pinto County get to enjoy that is a rarity to most is dark nights. Giving us the ability to really see the stars in ways that most never have. With a tripod and a camera, you can see even more! Palo Pinto Country is roughly 45 minutes west of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. It is the nearest area to the west you can go from DFW to start to really see the stars without or at least with little light pollution.
