• First up we have the greatly anticipated Homecoming Football Game! The kick-off is on Friday, at 7 pm on September 3rd, 2021. In addition to great football, you may also purchase tickets for press seats! These seats are intended for business networking. They will be in the press box which is air-conditioned, served food, and the opportunity to do a little business before the game. This will take place exactly an hour before the game starts. • Calling all dads and daughters! It’s time for some quality time in the great outdoors! Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at 8 am there will be a Dad’s and Daughter’s Canoeing Trip on The Brazos River! This amazing expedition has been organized by High Adventure Trek and they would love for you to attend. This organization has everything planned from the moment you arrive at 8 am to the moment you leave at 2 pm. These wonderful mentors are there to keep participates safely as well as teach them about canoeing gear. • It’s Ram’s weekend, so let’s support all the athletes we can! Our Lady Rams volleyball will be playing this Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at 10 am. They will be playing Eastland at our Rams Stadium. If you have the opportunity and enjoy sports, come cheer these ladies on! • ChooChoo all aboard! The Model Train exhibit is being opened to the public starting this Saturday at the Clark Gardens! This wonderful site will be open from September 4th at 8 am through the 5th at 4 pm. This would be a great outing for the whole family. • Also at the Clark Gardens this Saturday there will be a Car Show! They will be featuring all kinds of cars across the generations. The fun will begin from 12 pm to 4:30 pm All guests will have the opportunity to vote on first, second, and third place awards! • Hoot! Hoot! This next event is for anyone who loves the great outdoors. Night Sounds will be taking place Saturday Night at 8 pm at our local Lake Mineral Wells State Park & Trailway. This outdoor adventure will feature sounds of all the wilderness such as birds, frogs, bugs, and much more. So come out with a lawn chair and enjoy the music of nature. • Boo! It’s time for a Labor Day Ghost Walk! Come explore the Baker Hotel walk-around tour with tails of history that have a spooky twist. The walk will begin Saturday night just at sunset at 8:30 pm. The cost for this wild ride is just $20 for adults and $10 for children. • Mounted Shooting Beginner Clinic will be taking place Sunday, September 5th, 2021 at 2 pm at the 2 Irons Ranch which is located at 545 Copperhead, Mineral Wells, TX 76067. • Last but not least its time to adore one of Texas’s natural beauties, the night sky! Star Gazing the Texas Night Sky will be held at the Mineral Wells State Park & Trailway this Sunday night at 8:30 pm. This would be a wonderful time to see the Big Dipper, Orion’s belt, and many more constellations. The fee for this fantastic view is free with park entrance.
