A young Warriors team lead by veteran head coach Bryan Horton did not seem to disappoint, starting the game off with a 19-yard touchdown ran in by #2 Jackson Horton, then scoring again on a 12-yard pass to #19 William Goree for the touchdown.

CCS kept this trend going throughout the entire game, scoring high and defeating the Lions 86-66. Jackson Horton had himself a game and finished with a total of 311 passing yards on 27 attempts, as well as 279 rushing yards out of 18 carries. Other honorable mentions include #4 Christian Crawford with 115 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns and #19 William Goree who received 63 yards and 2 touchdowns

This win is a confidence booster for the Warriors as they prepare to host Stephenville Faith on Friday, September 3.
