Palo Pinto General Hospital just published the COVID test data from the past 7 months. It has made a striking realization that the number of positive cases has gone up dramatically since May, even though the number of tests has been fairly stable. This data has confirmed the risks of another possible spike in Palo Pinto County. This is the first update from PPGH on COVID numbers since April of 2021. Here is the data.

The data was provided today, August 3rd, 2021, and PPGH went on to share that since the beginning of COVID testing in Palo Pinto County, PPGH has taken a total of 9,407 tests, 7,737 of those tests have come back negative, and there have been 3,001 total positive tests in Palo Pinto County. PPGH also clarified the numbers might not have an equal total due to testing done on patients who reside outside of Palo Pinto county and testing done at other facilities.
