  • 10:30 AM – Some residents of Mineral Wells lost power due to the storm around 10:30 am. A portion of the outage is claimed (by Oncor) to be caused by a vehicle accident but the assumed majority of the outage is to be from lighting strikes. It is advised to stay indoors until the storm passes as there have been many lightning strikes. Oncor is estimating to have the power restored by noon today. We will add updates every 30 minutes to this article until power has been restored.
  • 11:00 AM – Currently Oncor is estimating that 1,715 customers in Mineral Wells are being affected by the power outage. Oncor has updated the estimated restoration time from noon to 1:00 PM today.
  • 11:30 AM – Oncor is estimating only 251 customers are currently affected. Time for restoration still appears to be 1:00 PM today.
  • 11:57 AM – Most customers power has been restored. (last update)
