Susan Wallace nominated Ethan Weathers in The 2021 Goodday Mineral Wells Top 40 under 40. Here is why Susan nominated Ethan:
Why should he be recognized? “Ethan is an outstanding example of the young adults in our community who are committed to serving Mineral Wells. After graduating from MWISD, Ethan joined the United States Marine Corps and served 4 years including a deployment to Afghanistan. In 2014, he chose to come home to Mineral Wells to live, work and invest in our community. In 2016, after completion of EMT, Fire and Paramedic Academies he was hired by MWFD. During the last 18 months, he has willingly worked many OT hours due to COVID.”
Professional Achievements: “Ethan was promoted to Lieutenant in 2019 and Captain in 2020. He has completed numerous certifications to gain knowledge and expertise to develop his career. In April, he and his shift received The Life Saving Award after saving the life of a young lady at our city gym.”
Activities: “Ethan is a caring and compassionate young man who has done a variety of volunteering in our community including delivering for Meals on Wheels. Ethan is a longtime active member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. His hobbies include fishing and hunting.”
