Hello everyone! We hope everyone has had an excellent week thus far. This weekend might be a great opportunity to enjoy the simple things in life because before we know it, summer break will be over. We are excited to bring you a great list of events for the whole family to enjoy this weekend.

  • It’s time for a duel! This Friday July, 23rd 2021 our Boyce Ditto Public Library will be hosting A Play on Swords: The Duelist at 10:30 am. This exciting live action combat will consist of real sword fighting with and without weapons. This will get all kids eager about the show as well as the history behind dueling.   • Next we have Bingo Night! This game never fails to bring people together. The numbers will start being called at 5 pm on Friday July 23rd, 2021 at the Mineral Wells VFW Post 2399 and it’s only $17 to play all night! So, grab some friends for a good time.   • There’s a new musical trio in town also this Friday night called Mysterious Scoundrels. This dynamic triad is said to bring all types of music to the table with several instruments including keyboard and saxophone. The show will begin at 8 pm and end at 11 pm at Coffee and Cocktails.   • If you’re going to have a morning brunch; why not do it with Endless Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas! This Saturday July 24th, 2021 beginning at 10 am to 2 pm Coffee and Cocktails will be serving these delicious drinks that are completely bottomless! Therefore if you were looking for a place with a great atmosphere, wonderful food, and delicious drinks this restaurant is the place to be.   • Next up it’s time to get creative! Sip N Painting will be taking place also this Saturday at 3 pm at the Sill. This experience will be a painting with a twist for just $35!   • It is time to get cooking! Coffee and Cocktails is hosting another delicious cooking class for all who wish to sharpen their skills in the kitchen. Class begins at 5 pm this Saturday. Students will be making a Caprese salad with homemade balsamic glaze. The entree is orecchiette pasta with Italian sausage, broccoli, & roasted red peppers. And for dessert grand Marnier molten chocolate cakes. The cost to learn such a scrumptious meal is just $75 a person.   • Last but not least, it’s time to appreciate nature in all its glory. Owl Prowl is a great event the whole family can enjoy. Individuals will meet for an adventure and education on owls at our local Lonestar Amphitheatre in our Mineral Wells State Park. The listening will start at 8:30 pm Saturday, July 23, 2021.
