Howdy, Everyone! It’s getting warmer by the day and the events are cooking. After this unusual wet season, it’s time to get out of the house! I have arranged a fun list of weekend events for all to enjoy!
- If you like animals then I have an event for you! The Boyce Ditto Public Library is putting on Wildlife On The Move Presents The Unhuggables, This family event will present an experience of a lifetime with animals for the kids to learn from. - Next up we have our AMVETS Annual Car Cruz and Show! The Car Cruz begins at 6 pm Friday evening June 4th, 2021. The route starts at our local American Legion all the way to Ram Country car lot and back! And their Classic Car Show will happen from the following Saturday 8 am to 3 pm at the VFW. - Everyone loves to eat! Why not do that with some fresh food from our very own Farmers Market by Let’s Grow Crazy! This will commence Saturday, June 5th, 2021 from 9 am to 1 pm that afternoon. So come out and get some good homegrown food. For details: https://fb.me/e/287ADxp4z
- Attention Couples! It’s time for a date night. It might have been a while since you and your partner got some quality time together. No worries, the Clark Gardens Botanical Park has everything set up for a wonderful evening. This Saturday at 7 pm on June 5th, 2021; for an entree of $20 at the door, come enjoy a night under the stars with live music. Feel free to bring a homemade picnic dinner, and appropriate beverage. - Last but not least, a cooking class! Coffee & Cocktails is hosting a cooking class for anyone who loves to cook. This will take place Saturday night June 5th, at 7 pm. To participate, it is asked each person to pay $75, but the student will be learning to make crabcakes with roasted red pepper aioli, creamy Tuscan salmon with sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach, and lemon cheesecake mousse.
