Bobbie Louise Graves

Graveside services for Bobbie Louise Graves, 95, will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Rock Creek Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Walker officiating. Visitation will be at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home on Monday, June 28, 2021, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
Mrs. Graves died in Mineral Wells on June 23, 2021. She was born in Mineral Wells August 9, 1925, the daughter of Robert Landon and Hattie Jane Johnson. Bobbie and Lamonde Hodge “L.H.” Graves were married in Mineral Wells on October 11, 1946. They lived in Arizona, New Mexico and El Paso, TX and returned to Mineral Wells in 1978.
L.H. and Bobbie were friends with D.C. Whittenburg, who became a devoted son to them.
Bobbie was a member of 11th Ave Church for over 30 years while Rev. R.B. Shiflet was the pastor. She taught the Jr. High Sunday School class for 21 years.
Bobbie is survived by her beloved grandson and namesake Bobby Whittenburg; son D.C. Whittenburg and his wife Pearl; granddaughter Christi Whittenburg; several cousins and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a baby brother.
The family would like to thank all her caregivers over the past few years for taking great care of Bobbie.
