The City of Mineral Wells wants to apologize for the problems getting trash collected over the past few days. It is our understanding that there have been various issues with Waste Connections and their available resources. However, Waste Connections has assured us that all household trash city-wide will be collected by the end of the day tomorrow (Saturday, May 22). We ask for your patience, and please understand that our staff taking your phone calls are not directly responsible for the performance of Waste Connections, and therefore we would ask for your kindness to them. We will continue to work with Waste Connections to ensure satisfactory service to our citizens, and again, we apologize for the inconveniences caused by recent unacceptable service levels.
