Weatherford, Texas: At 3:15 am Friday, Jan 29th, officers were dispatched to 101 Courthouse Square, where they found a car had run into the building. The Weatherford Fire Department arrived at the scene first and verified the driver was the only one that had been in the vehicle. It is not confirmed, but the officers believe the 23-year-old male driver was intoxicated. Jason Hayes, Weatherford Patrol Division Commander, told us that the suspect was currently on his way to JPS, and they are currently still in an intoxication investigation.

It is uncertain what this means for the future of this historic building. Updates will come as we receive them.
