Monday afternoon December 14th, 2020, FWPD did a welfare check at Bills Auto Sales in Fort Worth after receiving a call that the doors to the business were locked, and blood was seen on the doorknob.

When the police arrived, they found the body of Virginia Lewis. She had been shot in the chest inside the business. As the investigation continued, Fort Worth Police found the bodies of Veronica Jones and Clayton Turrentine in an abandoned building in Palo Pinto County, Tuesday, December 15th, 2020.

It is unclear the motives behind this tragedy. Lemont Cousins had his bond set at $1,000,000. This is an ongoing investigation, and more details will be provided as they are released.
