Billy (Bill) James Oksa

Billy (Bill) James Oksa, 56 passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020, at his home. Born July 23, 1964, in Fort Worth to the Late Richard Carl and Mamie Alice (Benton) Oksa. He was also precessed by his sisters Jean Johnson, Ann Alter, and brother Randy Carlisle.

Bill was a truck driver for most of his adult life. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed restoring classic hot rods and going to car shows, his favorite thing to watch was the burnouts. He was stubborn, hard-working, and loved his family more than anything. Bill was reserved for when he was up to something. If you knew Bill, that was the majority of the time. He loved to laugh and to make people laugh. The more he pestered you, the more he liked you.

Bill lost his mother when he was six. He is survived by his daughters, Crystal Samples and Gennie Baker, a mother who raised him Jackie Oksa of Dublin, bothers John Oksa, Jimmy Carlisle of Dripping Springs, Richard Carlisle of Dublin, sisters, Judy Shoemake of St, Louis MO and Joyce Lewis of Crowley, eight grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.
