Jackie Melvina Thompson, 64, loving wife, beloved mother, grandmother and friend passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at home with her loving family by her side.
Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020 in White’s Mineral Wells Chapel, 101 N. E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells.
Interment: Woodland Park Cemetery, Mineral Wells.
Visitation: 6 – 8 p.m. Friday at White’s Funeral Home.
Jackie was born September 20, 1956 in San Bernadino, California, daughter of Andrew Melvin Vanhorn Oliver and Doris Lee Oliver. She met and married Dale Thompson, Sr. and they spent over 40 happy years together raising their family. Jackie was a Substitute Teacher for Mineral Wells ISD and worked as a Customer Service Manager and in the Cash Office for Walmart. She loved her family and many animals with all of her heart and they brought her great joy.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale Thompson, Sr.; and sister, Elizabeth Shaffer.
Survivors: Sons, Christian Thompson, Bobby Thompson and wife, Jenny, Dale Thompson, Jr. and wife, Susan, Tim Harris, and Ridge Stewart; daughters, Misty Achard, Ashley Thompson, and Leeann Thompson; grandchildren, Ethan Thompson, Ethan Frampton, Bobby Thompson, Jr., Melvina Daniels, Natalie Daniels, and Zander Daniels; sister, Delila Dawson and husband, Tom; and many extended family members and friends.
