Charley Albert Blair
September 20, 1940 – November 8, 2020

Charley A. Blair was born in Garfield, Washington on September 20, 1940 and went home to be with the Lord on November 8, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents Wally and Pearl Blair.

Charley is survived by his wife Claudia of 58 years; sons: Allen and wife Denise of Seguin, TX and Gary & wife Shannon of Arlington, TX; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; sister Joyce Hoskins; sister-in-law Gwen & husband Jack Van Atta.

Charley was a pillar of the community of Mineral Wells; working as a locksmith for over 35 years. He was a member of the Central United Methodist Church. Charley loved the Lord, his family and his work as a Master Mason. He was a member of Mineral Wells Lodge #611 as well as several others.

He was dedicated to the craft serving as Worship Master of serval lodges. His dedication and leadership in York Rite and Scottish Rite Free Masonry earned him the honorary recipient of a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason.

He leaves behind a great legacy through his family and through his Masonic work.

Visitation will be held 6-7 p.m. Wednesday at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home. Graveside services we be 2 p.m., Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Indian Creek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent in memory of Charley Blair to Central United Methodist Church or No Mason Left Behind at www.YOURtMRC.org.
