The Lady Rams came into Friday night’s match against the Iowa Park Lady Hawks looking for a change in momentum. They didn’t get their wish, falling to 1-4 in district games after a tough 3 set loss. Iowa Park came out strong, and although Mineral Wells improved offensively each set, and kept fighting, they just couldn’t match IP. The Lady Rams ended the 3rd set with some nail-biting serves by Kenzie Lawhon to bring them to within 2 points before Iowa Park finally sealed the game 22-25. There were great plays made by freshman, Brittany Delk, Seniors Kenzie Lawhon, Brooklyn Ellis, and many other Lady Rams.
JV Lady Rams also fell short to Iowa Park, but the Mineral Wells Freshman came out on top over the Lady Hawks in 3 exciting sets.
