The JV Rams showed up ready to play some football Thursday night at Ram Stadium. They met the Vernon Lions with intensity. #11 Jace Freeman set the bar high with a 59-yard receiving touchdown in the first quarter and a scoring drive capped by a field goal. Another receiving TD by #86 Caiden Pitt and another made field goal put the Rams up 14-6 at the half. The Rams had the first possession of the half and another TD came for Freeman early in the 3rd quarter. The Rams took it to the ground, and Israel Flores marked his name to the stat sheet with a TD, TD #4 for the Rams. And MW finished the game strong with #88 Kaiden Sawyer-Bailey snagging a TD in the 4th Quarter. Final score 34-18 with the Rams on top. Some big defensive plays kept the Lions caged throughout the game. Notable defensive Rams were Braden Ethridge, Evan Kuhn, and Payton Light.
