John George Saunders, 91, passed away October 8, 2020 in Mineral Wells. He was born January 20, 1929 in Washington D.C. the son of Walter A. and Elsie Ferguson Saunders. He married Lennie Boyd on December 3, 1959 in Mineral Wells. He worked at the Mineral Wells brick yard from the time he was a teenager until he retired. After retirement he was a crossing guard at Lamar School which he loved. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Graveside services will be 10 AM Monday, October 12, 2020 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law: Lloyd and Deanne Campbell of Denton, sister: Margaret King of Tyler, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife: Lennie Saunders, and brother: Larry Saunders.
