Barbara Lucille Gatlin
July 24, 1933 – October 26, 2020

Barbara Lucille Gatlin, 87, beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, step-mother, and friend passed away Monday, October 26, 2020.

Graveside Service: 10 a.m. Friday, October 30th at Truce Cemetery. 

Barbara was born to Willard Jones and Iona Hall Jones on July 24, 1933.  She worked as a seamstress for most of her adult life while raising her daughter “Kathy”.  Later in life, she married her one true love, Mr. Gene Gatlin, and inherited her step-children, whom she adored.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy White, and son-in-law, Norris White; her sisters, Louise Welch, and Sandra Beard of Illinois; brother, Robert Jones of Michigan; and her beloved husband, Gene Gatlin.

She leaves behind her granddaughters, Katrina Sauceda of Axtell, and Angie Chapman of Mexia; her great-grandchildren, Austin, Kevin, and Katie Sauceda; her step-children. John Gatlin of California, Judy Glover of Mineral Wells, and Mary Smith of Possum Kingdom Lake.

She was loved by many and will be missed immeasurably.
