The Hole in the Wall Grill & Bier Garten, co-owned by Regan Wallace Johnson and Perri Horton Leavelle, is a hot spot in Mineral Wells on Friday and Saturday nights. With local musicians, great food, and great service, the Bier Garten is enjoyed by many each weekend.
Around 6:30 – 7:30 PM is the average time that citizens of Mineral Wells start rolling in after the long week is over. The owners are always welcoming to the community, the staff are quick to provide great customer service, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Just over the edge of the brick walls that mark the perimeter of the Bier Garten, the Baker Hotel can be seen, glowing in a golden light from the sunset, looking down upon the Mineral Wells community as they close out yet another great week.
Today, September 5th, Proud Country came out to perform at the Bier Garten and is playing music that only contributes to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Proud Country is composed of a performing singer/songwriter duo originating from Weatherford, TX. Both Taylor Bonham and Rhonda Lynn (McCullough) are proud military veterans that play traditional country music, a few classic rock and contemporary songs turned country, along with a few of their originals. As both singers and songwriters, the duo has created national award-winning songs about the military and coping with life afterwards. Both have won the National Veteran’s Creative Arts Competition.
Their new single, “Small Town USA,” is now available on Spotify and iTunes for download. To find out further information, go to proudcountry.net or, better yet, visit the Hole in the Wall Grill & Bier Garten! The duo will be playing and the food will be served until 10 PM tonight at closing. Come out and spend time with the Mineral Wells community! Did we mention that the food is delicious?!
