On September 12th, 2020, Jerry Fincher played some amazing songs at the Hatchet House of Mineral Wells. With an upbeat tune, this musician brings out an excitement in the crowd that isn’t normally seen.
With the majority of songs containing a fast-paced tempo, there weren’t many in the audience that you couldn’t catch singing and dancing. It’s amazing how a single musician can pick up the spirits of the people around them just by showing off their passion. However, Jerry can bring out more than cheers and applause, he can allow those around him to relate on a deeper level with his music without even trying – a talent coveted by many.
Jerry first picked up a guitar at eight years old and, as he grew older, began playing professionally since fourteen. Often playing in local shows, Jerry enjoyed singing and playing the guitar and drums. He primarily performs covers and is currently songwriting as well. Some of Jerry’s favorite bands include Get Dead, The Hooten Hollers, and Whiskey Myers.
“I pretty much listen to music all of the time. If I’m not listening to a podcast, I always have music playing in my car and rarely hear a moment of silence. I’ve latched on to a couple of bands that I always play on a loop.”
Jerry does not have upcoming performances scheduled in Mineral Wells at this time, but will be playing again soon! To contact Jerry or keep track of updates, fans are encouraged to reach out to him by clicking here.
