Barbara Fowler, 79, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2020 due to diabetes, congestive heart failure along with various other medical conditions. She was born on June 27, 1941 to Ovee and Arneta Jenkins in Belton, Texas.

Barbara loved to love on people. She enjoyed reading the Bible, spending time with her friends, family, and crocheting blankets of all sizes. She loved Jesus and spent many of her days teaching about him. She read the Bible numerous times, at one point even re-writing the bible as she loved to study the word of God. Her life was the perfect example of the Bible verse Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”

Barbara Fowler is survived by her 4 children and their spouses, Daniel and Karen Raulie, Terry and Laura Smith, Timothy and Kimberly Tucker, and Cathy Fowler; grandchildren Nicholas Smith, Danielle Smith, Neil Raulie, Gayla Raulie, Dylan Smith, Colin Tucker, and Ryan Tucker. All of these she touched and loved deeply.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Fairview Baptist Church in Mineral Wells, Texas from 2 pm – 3 pm.
