A new sports journalist has joined the Goodday Mineral Wells team and her name is Kellci Baker!
Kellci, a Mineral Wells Native, graduated from MWHS in 2010 and is now a full-time student at Weatherford Community College. Over the last few years, Kellci has made every effort to serve the Mineral Wells community and its surrounding areas. With years of experience serving on the Mineral Wells Area Chamber of Commerce Committee of Ambassadors, the Tourism Committee, and the Historic Downtown Association, Kellci brings a community-driven passion to the Goodday Mineral Wells Team.
Kellci first fell in love with sports while attending MWISD as a child. As a volleyball, track, and basketball athlete, Kellci grew to have a vested interest in the sports world. Whether she is attending the volleyball, football, or baseball games, she enjoys showing support to student athletes.
Serving on the First Impressions and Student ministries at Highridge Church of Mineral Wells, Kellci enjoys supporting her student athletes from Mineral Wells ISD and their surrounding schools.
Kellci will be attending future games and more to provide key updates about community sports including articles and photos.
