MINERAL WELLS, TX – On August 12th, 2020, #SAVEOURCHILDREN was placed on the fence covering the Lake Mineral Wells State Trailway Bridge. The sign can be seen upon entering town from SH 180 and represents a national movement.
#SaveOurChildren is a social movement that has a primary goal of ending child sex trafficking. According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, “Child sex trafficking has been reported in all 50 U.S. States. Today, the average age of child sex trafficking victims reported missing to NCMEC is only 15 years old.”
A protest is planned on August 16, 2020 at Weatherford Heritage Park at 1PM. The protest is planned to speak out against “abuse, pedophilia, porn, sex trafficking/exploitation, slavery, & extraction of organs.”
