Martha Fay Oertli Dowdy
June 1, 1939 – August 15, 2020

Early Saturday morning, August 15, 2020, Martha Fay Oertli Dowdy, went on a final road trip to be with her Lord. Martha will be forever remembered by her husband and best friend Charles Dowdy: her precious children; Debbie, Cindy and Bradley and her big brother Curtis Oertli. Martha “Nannie” will also be forever remembered by her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and her dear friends.

A visitation and viewing will be held on Friday, August 21st, 6:00pm at Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home, 302 West Hubbard St in Mineral Wells, TX.

A celebration of her life, in honor of Martha, will take place on Saturday, August 22nd, 3:00pm at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1416 SE 16th Str in Mineral Wells, TX, with Pastor David Wilkins presiding.

If  you knew Martha then you’ll know she’d never rest easy knowing she didn’t have one final opportunity to feed you, so the church will, in her honor, provide lunch at 1:00pm, prior to the service.

Graveside services will be held at the cemetery located in Acton, TX, 3629 Fall Creek HWY, Granbury, TX, immediately following her celebration of life (approximately 5:30pm).
