Lloyd Burns
November 4, 1964 – August 20, 2020

Lloyd Clyde Burns passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020. He was born November 4, 1964 in Mineral Wells to Glen Roger and Sue Anna Phye Burns. Lloyd loved the cowboy life. He lived the cowboy way and worked at the sale barns in the area. Lloyd was a mason, a Pythian, and a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Glen; uncles, Jimmy Dale, Norman, Jack, and Raymond Burns and William Phye; aunt, Ruth Garrison; nieces, Beth Ann Harrison, Aillsa and Alexa Burns; great-nieces and nephews, Levi Robinson, Lane Bloodworth, and Charlotte Robinson.

Survivors include mother, Sue Burns; siblings, Glenda Robinson and husband Cecil, James Burns and wife Michelle, Frances Sanders and husband Billy, Bill Burns, Leigh Trotter, Andrea Bloodworth, Sheila Mullins and husband Steve, Crystal Simpson and husband Rick; nieces and nephews, Christina, Cecilia, Josh, Matthew, Lora, William Casey, David, Kathryn, Jacob, Anthony, Angelica, Stephen, Ellis, Bradley, Samantha, Valerie, Kalvin, Cassie, Tyson, Katelyn, Billy, Justis, Destiny, Bruce, Tricia, Nathan, Dallas, and Amani; uncles, Paul Burns and wife Cheryl and Robbie Phye and wife Barbara; aunts, Ramona Evans, Roy Ann Burns, Becky Phye and Bobbetta Shaw; numerous other extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be 10 a.m., Friday, August 28 at Willow Pond Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home.
