Carl Hestilow, 91, of Mineral Wells passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020. He was born December 25, 1928 in Mineral Wells. Carl was a great guy who never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back. He was preceded in death by his son Larry Dean Hestilow and his parents, Jim and Mary Harris Hestilow.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Clara Bernice Hestilow; children, Carla Marley and husband Leo, Fonda Gustin and husband Billy, Carl Wayne Hestilow and wife Hannah; grandchildren, Brooks Mahan, Cody Mahan, Lacey Mahan, Heather Hestilow, Larry Hestilow and wife Mary Jo; 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 18 at Sturdivant Cemetery. Carl will be lying in state at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home from 5-8 Monday evening.
