Barbara Ann Chittum
April 22, 1941 – August 11, 2020

Barbara Ann Chittum, 79 passed away peacefully on the afternoon of August 11, 2020 in Mineral Wells, Texas at the Mineral Wells Nursing and  Rehabilitation Center. 

Barbara was born on April 22, 1941, in Stephenville, Texas daughter of Juanita Snider and John Chittum and sister of Bruce Chittum of California. She grew up in White Settlement, Texas where she was raised by V. M. Melton and her mother, Juanita. After completing her education at Castleberry Highschool, she found joy in her work with the Head Start students at the Mineral Wells campus. She loved cooking and enjoyed jewelry and flowers.

Barbara leaves behind two loving sisters, Pat Barnes and Donna Wells and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A viewing will be held Friday, August 14th from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Baum-Carlock Funeral home in Mineral Wells and there will be a graveside service on Saturday, August 15th at 10:00 am at The Old Gordon Cemetery in Gordon, TX.
