Notice Of Public Hearing For Expansion Of Zone Boundaries, Extension Of Life Of The Zone And Approval Of First Amended Project Plan And Finance Plan For Reinvestment Zone Number Two, Mineral Wells, Texas, Pursuant To Chapter 311, Texas Tax Code.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR EXPANSION OF ZONE BOUNDARIES, EXTENSION OF LIFE OF THE ZONE AND APPROVAL OF FIRST AMENDED PROJECT PLAN AND FINANCE PLAN FOR REINVESTMENT ZONE NUMBER TWO, MINERAL WELLS, TEXAS, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 311, TEXAS TAX CODE.
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Mineral Wells will hold a public hearing at its meeting on July 21, 2020, which begins at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall Annex, 115 S.W. 1st Street, Mineral Wells, Texas, for expansion of Zone boundaries, extension of life of the Zone and approval of the First Amended Project Plan and Finance Plan for Reinvestment Zone Number Two, Mineral Wells, Texas. Meeting site will be closed to the public. In an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 by avoiding meetings that bring people in a group setting, and in accordance with the Texas Governor’s Declaration of Disaster enacted March 13, 2020, members of the City Council may be participating remotely in compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, as temporarily modified by the Texas Governor. All residents and property owners are invited to provide comments for or against the expansion of the zone, its boundaries, or the concept of tax increment financing in general. At or on the adjournment of the public hearing, the City may expand the boundaries and extend the life of the Zone for Reinvestment Zone Number Two, Mineral Wells, Texas.
Any person wishing to speak in regards to this Public Hearing must either use the “raise hand button” if using the computer; or by dialing *9 if calling in at the portion of the meeting when the Mayor opens the Public Hearing.
