Mineral Wells ISD Food Service Department has been working on plans to make sure all of our students and staff are safe during meal times at each campus. We will be wearing shields, masks or both and gloves at all times while preparing and delivering, serving students and staff meals.
Menus for August will be posted on our website by August 10th and future menus the week before each new month starts.
During breakfast and lunch meal service we will have a few changes this coming school year, 20-21.
LAMAR-HOUSTON-TRAVIS will be served breakfast and lunch plus a choice of milk in their classrooms. These will be sack meals that are wrapped and secure. JR. HIGH will go thru the line to get their meals and will receive them in take out containers for safety. If they want extras or snacks the staff will hand the items to them. We will enter the students/staff numbers for their meal so no one will touch the keypad. HIGH SCHOOL will go thru the lines and chose what they want and their meals will be in take out containers. Because of some of these changes we encourage all parents/guardians to put money on their child’s account online if they are at Jr. High-High School for Ala Carte or snacks to help eliminate handling cash.
