Betty Jane Garnett, 96, passed away July 15, 2020 at her nursing home in Denton. She was born December 16, 1923 in Denver, Colorado the daughter of Olan and Mary Sullivan Garnett. She worked at M.D. Anderson for 35 years as an administrative assistant. She lived in Houston for most of her life moving to Mineral Wells in the early 1980’s. She was a faithful member of Northside Baptist Church in Mineral Wells. Many people in the area have known and loved her. Services will be 10 AM Saturday, July 18, 2020 in the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Chapel. Burial will follow in Ballew Springs Cemetery. She is survived by her sister: Jean Garnett and numerous nieces and nephews.
