Myndi Muncy, Mineral Wells Main Street Manager, gave us a few details on the Community Development Block Grant Sidewalk Project taking place on 1st Ave. The project is in phase one. They are currently making the sidewalks ADA compliant and removing decommissioned power lines. 1st Ave is expected to stay closed throughout the week from 7 am-7 pm until this weekend. Myndi did share with us that while there were some areas that it was necessary to remove some bricks, they are actually holding onto the bricks that were removed for a possible future project.
